Huawei has introduced a new pink colorway of its Watch Fit 4 fitness watch for global markets, offered as an NFC Edition that supports contactless payments, and has listed the model for direct purchase on its official website. The launch expands a lineup that previously shipped in four shades for the standard model and three for the Pro variant. According to عالم التقنية, the new version is positioned as the NFC Edition rather than a simple color refresh.
The base Watch Fit 4 had been available in black, white, purple and grey, while the Pro model came in black, blue and green. The pink finish joins the range as a distinct SKU tied to the contactless feature set.
Why it matters
Wearable makers have increasingly treated contactless payment support as a deciding feature rather than a bonus, particularly in markets where shoppers use watches to tap through transit gates and retail terminals. By attaching NFC to a new color option, Huawei is pairing a style-driven purchase with a practical capability, which could help the Watch Fit 4 compete against rival fitness bands that offer similar tap-to-pay functions.
The move also signals that Huawei is continuing to refresh the Fit 4 family after its initial release, rather than waiting for a full generational update. A new colorway is a low-cost way to extend a product's shelf life and draw attention in retail listings.
How the NFC feature works
According to official details cited by عالم التقنية, the NFC hardware enables the watch to be used at payment terminals, to pass through gates on public transport, and to interact with digital access readers at short range. The company lists support for contactless payments, unlocking compatible smart doors and cars, and use as a transit card.
NFC is not limited to the new pink model. The same capability is available on the grey, New Black and purple versions, according to the official specifications. That means buyers choosing those finishes can also use the watch for tap payments and access control, provided their local banking and transit partners support the service.
Pricing and availability in the Philippines
The pink Watch Fit 4 is priced at 7,499 pesos in the Philippines, with a 2,000-peso discount bringing the price down to 5,499 pesos. Buyers can also pay in installments of 229.13 pesos per month, and purchasers receive a complimentary three-month Huawei Health+ membership.
Those figures come from the reporting by عالم التقنية and reflect Philippine pricing specifically. Huawei has not indicated in the source material whether the same promotional terms apply in other markets where the pink model is listed.
Hardware and battery details
The Watch Fit 4 keeps a slim profile at 9.5mm thick and weighs 27 grams. Huawei rates battery life at up to 10 days, or about 7 days under typical use, and the watch ships with a second-generation wireless SuperCharger that refills it in 75 minutes.
The device includes a barometer that records data such as air pressure, storm warnings, distance, altitude and heart rate. Users can customize the main screen and build watch faces using stickers taken from their favorite moments, according to the official details.
Software and the wider Huawei lineup
The Watch Fit 4 Pro received a HarmonyOS 6.1 update globally in July, according to عالم التقنية. Huawei has also recently announced the FreeBuds SE 5 Max earbuds, which the company says offer up to 80 hours of battery life.
The pink NFC Edition is available through Huawei's official online store, per the report. The source does not specify a full list of countries receiving the new color, beyond confirming a global release and detailing Philippine pricing.
Watch for whether Huawei extends the NFC Edition to additional finishes or brings the pink model to more markets with local pricing, and whether carrier or bank partnerships follow to broaden where the contactless feature can actually be used.
